Open Question: What should I do about college? It's so frustrating!?
I'm currently very frustrated with college. I applied to Chaffey College as an undergrad for this fall but pratically every class I need for prerequisites and to help my major are full. Chaffey is swamped with kids and I don't know what to do anymore as a full-time student. Then the University of Phoenix is giving me the chance to attend their school but idk.. I don't go for schools that publicize themselves through commercials, radio, and such. I know it's not a scam but I'm feeling hesitant about it. Can anyone please help with this decision-making?

Open Question: Daycare scam...So why isn't she in jail? Is scamming against the law?
My SIL has a 4 year old. He goes to a daycare where it cost $22 per day. It is a really nice daycare in a Church, with really nice people. This huge hoopla went down because she was picking up her son early when she saw someone picking up a little girl, who is the sister of a little girl she teaches. She teaches school and has a summer class right now. She knew the little girl's mom, and saw that it was not her picking her up. When she asked the girl's mom about it when she picked up her other daughter the next day, apparently she started panicking because her daughter does not go to that daycare. What she found out, is that she had been paying a private daycare provider $64 per day, and she was in turn taking her daughter and 2 other kids to the $22 per day daycare. This has been going on every year and she just now found out. My question is: One... How could the daycare take students without making sure who the actual parents are? Second: Why is she not in jail, and Third: how could the parent's of these kids not find out until now? Its the nuttiest thing I've heard. As of now she told me the lady and the other parents have pulled their kids out of her care. Shouldn't she lose her license? What about the daycare where my SIL's son is? Is it safe for a kid to go to a daycare where they don't even check who the parents are? Nuts....This just seemed so odd to me. I bet she can afford the best! $42 x 3 kids plus she has a catering business... I'm guessing she was pulling home $630 a week for kids she wasn't even watching....NUTS. The balls of some people.

Open Question: Who's who in America scam?
Hi everyone I have just moved to the USA barely a month ago, I am a well known professional internationally and came across an ad on the internet for the who's who in America so I filled a form to be included thin king it was free as there was no mention of any fees on the web page. They called me a few days ago and after listing every the benefits they then asked for 700 dollars for platinum membership, as I expressed that I would not be interested they went down to 500 for a Gold one, then to 300, then to just paying 9.95 dollars per month... I did not agree and to just brush off the lady without being rude I said let me receive back to you in an hour, she was so sticky and made it look like if I did not decide right there I would lose the privilege and she was insisting to receive my credit card details which I obviously did not give. I never called back but they keep calling me every day and leaving messages to call back, but to my surprise this morning I found a voice message from a debt collection company on my cell phone! Is this legal? Can they really do something to force me to pay? I did not approve nor sign anything, but I don't know that law here, can anyone who knows the law in the US enlighten me please! White men do most of the Pedophilia and Child Porn arrests. A 65 year old white man was just arrested in Texas for possessing child porn. Black men do most rapes, car jacking and armed robberies. Asian men and white men equally do most cons/scams. Asians do this on a smaller scale, white men do this on a grand scale. Hispanic men do most of the tax evasion but we are every guilty here. Hispanic men also do the most stabbing. Hispanic men especially when drunk out of their minds adore knife play.

Open Question: Donations over the net, is that now illegal?
Lol, i think its stupid if it is but I am not sure, is it illegal to ask for donations over the net? Donations for things from a guitar to money for business? Cause I seen that a guy close me that was paying guitar, had a crappy one so posted videos of him playing guitar and asked for donations to buy him another guitar and also separate donations to help him start a guitar teaching school and had the PayPal Donation Buttons and every he got was post after post about how illegal it was to receive donations over the internet. I never heard of it illegal to "ASK" for people for money for what it is your wanting to do, I heard it was illegal to SCAM people out of their money but to just ask and the other party KNOWINGLY gives money?? What is the deal? Yea that's another thing, I never heard of having to have a charity name because then that my be soliciting for the wrong reason, one person (off paypal) just said to place as a charity name, the name of what ever you are looking for donations for, like if your wanting a treadmill the name would be treadmill cause that is what your looking for. So I dont know about the charity thing either...

Open Question: 3-day Hongkong shopping tour sold in China for CNY 610 incl. meals and hotels?
Yes, took place in March, the tourists came back empty-handed, complained the service of the tour guide who's also a mainlander. It's later revealed that the dozen or so tourists had the tour booked up by "some friends", no tour company name given. Often round trip Vegas tours sold around the world only for a tiny fraction of the cost, tourists are asked to buy certain amount of chips when signing up the tour. Do the mainland tour companies ever explained to their clients that they're expected to store X amount of goods when signing up for the CNY610 tours? Obviously not, the misrepresentations, scams and cheating originate from the departure cities which China herself must tackle.

Open Question: where can I watch old movies online without downloading?
Not new releases, just movies from the 80's, 90's and onwards, stuff which has probably been on telly tons of times. Mostly everything I want to look is not available to rent at blockbusters and I don't want to have to buy the dvd when i just wanna look it once. Open Question: Why does the bible make so much sense in regards to 10 commandments?
The world's problems are rooted from our violation of the 10 commendments. Our adore of money which guide us to cheat, lie, steal, fornicate, sexual imorality, fraud, scam others, robbery, wars, rape, and even murders. In theory, if EVERYONE could obey the 10 commandments everyday, then the earth would be at peace. The commandments sum it up as adore God with every your heart and adore than neighbour. If you adore God, then money would not be the first thing. Therefore, there will be no corruption, pride, drunkness, frauds, murders, robbery, drugs, alcohol, gamble, immoral sex, famine, etc...... Atheists claim that the bible was written by men long time ago. However, the world is rooted by men's sinfulness. Since the beginning of time, world peace was never achieved by men but the 10 commandments could! So unless the bible is the Word of God, no men could write up the 10 commendments. If you open up your eyes, you will look it too.

Open Question: Debt Collectors!! I never heard of these people.?
I was involved in an accident in February, and I was at fault because I failed to yield. My insurance company informed me personally that they covered the damages to her car because I had liability insurance. Everything is done and over with. Today, I received a letter in the mail today from some collection company I never heard of called "Warning Notice.com." asking for almost 2,000 dollars!! Who are these people and is it another scam to receive money from people? Because everygthing with my accident was taken care of months ago.

k this is my first dog and i got her from the humane society a year ago and she came with every her shots and everything (shes 3 yrs old now). so a couple of weeks ago i took her to a vet. id never been there before and it looked really crappy on the outside and it was sort of in the getto. anyways he gave my dog her yearly shot. then he convinced me to receive the 'kennel cough' shot. then he told me shes 3lbs overweight and tried to receive me to buy his special diet food for dogs (but i didnt). and i really dont think shes overweight. then he told me that she should receive a blood test done for heartworm. is this true? im not sure if this is normal because it was my first time at the vet and i think im gonna switch vets anyways. do every dogs receive heartworm tests every year?

i've been in to acting for quite a while since i took drama class at school and i adore it but im really into being in front of the camera. i've been in involved in tiny acting competitions but not widely know ones and average school plays and i did great in both but i wanna be in front of the camera at first my dad got some call saying i got an audition and the agency was john robert powers ( jrp). so i went and i audition (at that time i didn't know it was a scam) and was on of the ones to receive recommended and they started to ask my dad for a big load of money to give me classes and i thought that was a little weird cause talent agencies wouldn't ask for money up front first so i found out it was a scam so i was wondering if u could give me a list of talent agencies that aren't scams and some advice also telling me how to become an actor involved in movies and tv etc

my pal gave this company my phone number and they phoned me up yesterday. they seemed legit over the phone and after speaking to my friends about the day she had i agreed to go for it and payed the £2 booking fee over the phone. Now after reading every the scam that surrounds them about taking money off people's cards without them knowing, i am instantly regretting it. I have now cancelled my card, they shouldn't be able to receive any money off me right? Are they allowed to do this to people?

I put my resume on two job boards and I got a answer this week for a position that offers free training online. I've been looking every over to look if they are a okay business to set my information to and while I do not find any bad info I don't find anything good about them either other than their web site. http:// ascfinmanagement.com On the application they ask for the name of my bank: "8. ACCOUNT INFORMATION On this account you will receive money for the training courses from the company side and money for your job (daily or weekly). every given information as strictly confidential will not be shared with any third parties. If you don’t want to provide us your possess account information, just open a new one personal account and provide us with new account information. Bank name: ______________________________ " The spelling throughout the application and document they sent me are every right it seems except for the word MAJEURE (as in a majeure catastrophe!) which they use several times but this business says they are in England so I don't really know what words are spelt differently here in America. Other than the bank name they ask for my name, address, email address, phone number, and when iis the best time to contact me by phone. They claim that they offer free training classes for the jobs online. There is also a list of their benefits such as 4. BENEFITS Company benefits shall include: 4.1 401(k) retirement account 4.2 Annual stock options 4.3 Child daycare assistance 4.4 Education assistance 4.5 Health, dental, life and disability insurance 4.6 Sick leave 4.7 Vacation and personal days 4.8 Money from company side for every purposes related to the job: Internet, cell phone, training, bank fees and taxes. Is this a scam?

Open Question: Emission problem help please?
Wow this emissions problem is driving me nuts. I just called emissions in the good ole state of ct. My car failed emissions , so needless to say I am just thrilled to death. Anyways I didn't quite understand this waiver thing they have . I mean if your car needs a thousand and it costs $660. for the car to receive a waiver , by the way I have heard that good ole connecticut has the highest amount you have to achieve before getting the waiver. so what is the mechanic supposed to do cease right in the middle of the repairs so you can receive your waiver at $660 ? Also they told me you have to pay DMV an extra $20 directly to them for a tardy penalty. Because I am past the 60 days Plus the $20 for tardy fees to the garage for being past 60 days. than you have to trust the garage they told me because they are state certified to make every the repairs they said they would. Yeah right ! I'll tell you one thing I will be suing their little fannies if I find out they did not do what they said they would do. And now on top of that they told me I will have to do a steer cycle after having these repairs done because your car will not pass. So it doesn't matter how much money I pay if this steer cycle is not done than I wont pass anyways they told me. Well I think this should be part of these certified stations to do the steer cycle seeing they are getting so much money. Is this a scam or what ?

The guy said that I was going to boat it to his client (Not overnight tho like most scams) and he paid me through paypal (once again not asking me for my paypal email like most scams, he paid through the Ebay link to paypal). So basically Im not sure if I am being scammed but Im not going to boat until I have the money in my bank account. My other question is once I have the money in my bank account am I completely safe from a scam? Sam what if I keep the Email of the address he told me to boat it to as well as the delivery confermation. So I will have him telling me where to boat and the proof that it was delivered to where he wanted it delivered to

Open Question: How will I know if a company is a scam?
I am looking to borrow money from this company and everything points to "to good to be true" so it makes me leary. I can't find anything on line about this company but the contract they sent me looks just like a bunch that are listed as scams on line. I have called the BBB and they are not listed nor do they have complaints. I type the 877 number in and it dosn't arrive up. I type the persons name in and he doesn't arrive up either. Can someone help?
